So I'm guessing your reading this because you want to be part of our staff... Well this guide will show you how to increase your chances in being picked for our staff positions.
First Staff position you will be given is most likely Moderator. But what is a Moderator? ... A Moderator is some one that "Moderates" or Maintains the Piece and Well-being of the server players. Moderators (or mods) Work for the server players (helping them, listening to them, aiding them, and resolving problems). Mods also work against the hackers, buggers, abusers, botters, and anything that doesn't look right. Moderators arn't just a spot of High Power, you are working FOR the server.
Now that we know what exactly you are trying to achieve, lets learn how to increase chances of being chosen.
- Be and Act Mature
Staff members need to be calm and collective, because they will be working with difficult, hard, and some annoying situations. weather its a N00b that knows nothing, we must try our hardest to get on their level to help them out. Or if its a Bugger or Glitch abuser, Moderators must handle the situation with the right percussions, like first jail then, ask, then warn, then give another chance (Dont just ban, because it will cause more problems).
SO to increase your chance of being staff, act mature in game, try to figure things out on your own. Dont ask toomany questions, and Help others that NEED help.
- Show You'r Usefull
Show you are a usefull asset to the server, you can do this by Donatiting, Advertising, Helping, Finding bugs/glitches, Suggesting Updates/Changes, Help the owner with what he needs. Ect.
DON'T be that guy who spams every 5 secs ''PM ME YOUR QUESTIONS I'L HELP YOU PLZ''.
- Dont ask, dont show it
Players who Dont ask. and that dont express that they "Reeeealy" want moderator "Soo so bad" will show their Mature and not desperate
- Be ACTIVE
Being active in-game, AND on the forum is one of the most important. Play more ingame, become experienced in our server, know your way around it so you can answer n00bs questions. Show us that you are willing to dedicate your time to our server.
Also Post as much as you can on our forums, Being a forum whore does work, There is nothing more i love to see than our members contributing to the community :].
- Be Friendly
Avoid conflicts, Anger, Frustration. Be nice and happy. ;D
- Help Out
Like i stated above, Helping Alex, and Freedom do what they are trying to do (like fix hit ratios, or advertising, or making shops have better prices. etc.) is one of the BEST ways you can show that you are useful and really care about the server. Another way to help out is to DONATE
