With the woodcutting skill, you can get logs for fletching or firemaking, or just sell the logs for profit.
Training Woodcutting
First off, buy a rune axe and an iron axe from the skilling store. Click the skill teleport, and head to Woodcutting. Start chopping a normal tree in the area. Woodcutting is greatly paired with Firemaking, so it's best to woodcut the logs and firemaking them at the same time. Start chopping a tree, and then use a tinderbox on a log. You will keep cutting the tree without re clicking it. Once you are 15 Woodcutting, go to the oak tree in the area. Once you have 45 Woodcutting, start cutting the maple tree until 60 woodcutting. Once you have 60, go a bit south. There is a yew tree in the area with a fence. And chop this tree until 75 woodcutting. Now go a bit more south of the yew tree until you see a Rare Tree symbol on your minimap. There should be a magic tree here. So just keep chopping this tree until 99!
